Most People Who Say They Play Guitar
Are Just Strumming chords
Hello!
My name is Ron Lemire. Welcome to SoloBand.net
I've played guitar as a local performer for over fifty fantastic years.
Like thousands of teens interested in Rock 'n' Roll, I learned guitar in the late 1950s (before the internet and computers). Back when music teachers, law enforcment, and religious leaders hated rock music.
After COVID, I retired and thought of teaching guitar. When I looked at how people learn guitar today. I was dismayed. It's expensive, badly taught, frustratingly boring, and most students give up.
People who say they play guitar -- are just strumming chords like beginners. Music teachers can't help guitar players who don't want to read music. So nobody tells them the difference between playing guitar and strumming. As a result, generations of players have never learned how easy it is to turn their guitar into a live music box.
I know what real guitar playing is, I know why the current teaching methods fail, and I know it doesn't have to be this way. You don't need to read music. You only need to know seven basic chords and someone who teaches you the difference between strumming and playing.
That's SoloBand's goal. A one-month path that teaches you to play guitar properly — for $25 (the price of a cup of coffee).
I've witnessed an industry overcharge people for lessons that don't work, and I think everyone deserves the pleasure of playing guitar.
If you've tried before and quit—or if you suspect you're not playing guitar properly—you're the person SoloBand was built to help.
